Instructions for manual access and setting the correct link to the UniFi Controller via remote access
- You need the password of the access point. In the factory state, the user name and password are: ubnt. The password is changed by the controller after integration. You can find it in the settings under “Site/Device Authentication”.
- Connect to the access point via SSH. You can use Putty for this purpose. Log in.
- Type “set-inform http://example.net:8080/inform” and confirm with enter.
set-inform http://example.net:8080/inform- The access point connects to the controller and can be integrated.
